About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Neural Concept’s market positioning, product narrative, growth strategy and marketing operating model
- Define the company’s point of view, differentiation, customer value proposition and category story around AI for Engineering
- Translate complex technology into messaging for engineers, executive buyers, partners, analysts and the broader market
- Develop product marketing, sales enablement, launches, customer stories and executive-level commercial materials
- Set the marketing function’s structure, priorities, processes and decision cadence
- Allocate internal resources and determine which capabilities to build in-house or source from agencies and external partners
- Define how marketing creates opportunities, accelerates pipeline and supports large enterprise deals
- Own the path from target account and engagement to qualified opportunity
- Report on opportunity creation, marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline, account engagement, brand authority and customer advocacy
- Build an integrated growth engine across ABM, field, digital, partner marketing and demand generation
- Use customer evidence, partners, analysts, PR, thought leadership and industry moments to amplify the company’s position
- Strengthen partner marketing and connect it to the demand engine
- Lead and develop the specialist marketing team across product marketing, brand and communications, digital and marketing operations, creative, partner marketing and regional field marketing
- Run regular alignment with the CEO, commercial leadership, Product, Engineering and marketing
- Represent Neural Concept externally with customers, partners, analysts, media and industry leaders
- Report to the CEO
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically 12+ years in marketing
- Several years owning a full marketing mandate at VP or C level
- Senior marketing leadership in a technical B2B environment such as engineering software, industrial technology, robotics, AI, simulation, CAD/CAE, PLM or scientific software
- Experience with complex products and highly technical buyers; generic SaaS experience alone is insufficient
- Experience building or materially scaling a marketing organization
- Direct ownership of budget, organization design and measurable business outcomes
- Experience creating or shaping a market category and connecting it to commercial growth
- Strong product marketing and positioning capability
- Experience supporting complex enterprise sales and multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Global experience across the US and Europe
- Experience leading senior specialists while working closely with a technical founder and executive team
- Direct experience in simulation, CAE, CAD or PLM software, or AI and deep-tech products sold to engineering organizations preferred
- Prior CMO or full-function marketing leadership preferred
- Established relationships with industry analysts and technical media preferred
- Hard skills in positioning and messaging, product marketing, category design, account-based marketing, demand generation, field and executive marketing, marketing analytics and pipeline attribution, budget ownership, organization design, and go-to-market strategy
- Resume must be submitted in English
