About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide excellent customer service to patients and physician offices
- Coordinate scheduling and completion of diagnostic sleep testing
- Handle heavy inbound and outbound phone calls
- Schedule a minimum of 20 patients per day
- Obtain patient history and appropriate clinical data before appointments
- Educate patients about sleep testing, registration, study process, and additional services
- Verify insurance online before scheduling
- Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure staff availability
- Interact with physicians, insurance providers, and others to resolve issues
- Report weekly and monthly information for assigned sites
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ year customer service experience
- Experience in a medical setting preferred
- HS diploma or GED
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong multitasking skills between task lists and inbound calls
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly
- High level of organization and accuracy
- Exceptional telephone communication skills and manner, reflecting enthusiasm and professionalism
- Ability to work 1 weekend day and 1 evening shift per month
