About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Educate and promote Neurocrine products and related disease states to assigned corporate accounts
- Align with corporate account priorities to drive behavior change related to screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Meet assigned business goals, including revenue targets and other key business objectives
- Participate in strategic account planning and execute plans to identify, build, and expand relationships within assigned corporate accounts
- Drive expansion and development of assigned corporate accounts
- Provide customer service and drive appropriate diagnosis and product use
- Develop business plans and initiatives for assigned corporate accounts
- Identify key decision makers and initiate opportunities to engage with Neurocrine
- Create customer analysis presentations from market intelligence
- Partner with HEOR, Market Access, Field Medical, Public & State Policy, Advocacy, Marketing, and Sales departments
- Lead account teams and manage initiatives within relevant organized customer and B2B environments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related Scientific Field AND 8+ years of sales experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry, with significant experience as a corporate account manager strongly preferred
- OR Master's degree AND 6+ years of similar experience
- Experience leading account teams and managing initiatives within Long-term Care or similar B2B environments
- Experience leading account teams and managing initiatives within organized customers such as IDNs, Academic Hospital Centers, Community Hospitals, government agencies, Corrections Facilities, or similar B2B environments
- Successful track record of identifying, establishing, and fostering strong and long-term customer relationships
- Demonstrated relationship management skills
- Good understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks for promotion, pharma industry guidelines, and compliance issues
- Proven ability to build relationships with organized customers, including LTC Pharmacies, Nursing Home Chain Owner Groups, Provider Service Organizations, and Professional Associations
- Proven ability to build relationships with organized customers such as integrated delivery networks, Academic Hospitals Centers, Community Hospitals, Behavioral Health Systems, corrections facilities, or similar B2Bs
- Creative ability in developing business plans and presenting innovative solutions to customers
- Proven ability to prospect, identify, and help influence corporate C-suite leaders and top clinical decision makers
- Thorough understanding of account interdependencies, customer processes, treatment goals, and needs
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and results-driven
- Ability to anticipate business and industry issues and recommend relevant process, technical, or service improvements
- Broad expertise or unique knowledge; considered an expert within the company
- In-depth expertise in the discipline and broad knowledge of closely related areas
- Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams
- Good leadership and mentoring skills
