About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support engineering, production facilities, field service organizations, and other departments in transitioning to the updated vehicle multiplexing architecture
  • Participate in developing the new multiplexing architecture and become a subject matter expert
  • Support and educate engineering groups affected by the new architecture, including teams creating multiplexing programs, electrical schematics, and other engineering designs
  • Support and educate production facility personnel adapting to vehicles with the new multiplexing architecture
  • Support and educate the Field Service team during the transition
  • Create documentation for engineering, production, and field service groups
  • Provide customer-facing documentation and presentations as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Electrical/Engineering Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum years of equivalent related industry/technology experience: 1–3 for Junior, 3–5 for Intermediate, 5+ for Senior
  • Experience in multiplexing systems for heavy-duty on- and off-highway vehicles, electrical integration systems, and a strong understanding of CAN bus networks (e.g., SAE J1939) is preferred
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 programming languages, such as ladder diagram and function block diagram are an asset
  • Travel to the US (<30%)
