About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide academic advisement to current graduate students in Communicative Sciences and Disorders
- Interpret University policies and procedures, program requirements, acceptable electives, and alternative or substitute courses
- Assist with planning and implementing recruitment and orientation activities
- Facilitate seminars and events that enhance graduate students' academic experience and professional development
- Interface with University offices and departments to expedite graduation tracking, transfer credit evaluations and reviews, program development, and substitutions
- Respond to inquiries about the School, department, and program offerings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education, Psychology, Counseling, or another related field
- 2+ years of student advisement, recruitment, admissions, counseling, or related experience
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to plan and deliver special events and seminars
- Proficiency with various computer applications
- Demonstrated commitment to student success
- Ability to manage several administrative tasks simultaneously
- Ability to follow detailed workflows
- Ability to work collaboratively with department and campus partners
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, new technologies
- Google Suite, Excel, and caseload management systems such as Starfish and PeopleSoft are preferred

Comp & perks- Base salary of USD $77,000.00 to USD $84,700.00 annually
