About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise a significant cohort of predominantly undergraduate transfer students
- Assist with the planning and development of signature advising programs
- Support and collaborate on initiatives designed to augment the new student experience
- Serve as a member of the College Advising Team
- Report to the Associate Director of New Students
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts discipline or relevant field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in advising, including programming development and implementation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to advise and support diverse student populations
- Strong commitment to liberal arts education
- Ability to communicate effectively to individuals at all levels
- Master's Degree preferred
- 5+ years of related experience preferred
Benefits
Comp & perks- Base salary of USD $70,000.00 to $77,000.00
- Hybrid work arrangement with 60% to 80% onsite
- 3-year fixed-term contract
