About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise students, families, and school counselors on admissions policies, procedures, academic programs, and financial support opportunities
  • Conduct school visits and host information sessions and events for target audiences
  • Attend education fairs to increase NYU Abu Dhabi’s visibility and meet prospective students
  • Support NYUAD’s global partnership with the Institute of International Education
  • Cultivate relationships with schools, community organizations, and governmental agencies in assigned regions
  • Evaluate and recommend applicants for admission to NYU campuses, primarily NYU Abu Dhabi
  • Contribute to the development, training, and implementation of the international credential review process
  • Provide guidance to NYU’s tri-campus admissions staff on international credentials

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of university admissions or related experience
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
  • Ability to market NYU independently
  • Extensive travel and weekend hours required
  • Driver’s license required
  • Familiarity with online application review technology (Slate)
  • Ability to evaluate a high volume of applications for admissions
  • International and domestic travel, evening and weekend work required
