About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage New York University's faculty appointment policies and procedures on behalf of the Office of the Provost
- Maintain records on faculty status, including tenure
- Analyze retirement eligibility
- Oversee annual processes for full-time faculty
- Advise faculty affairs leadership
- Produce scheduled and ad hoc reports for faculty affairs leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of relevant professional-level experience administering procedures related to faculty appointments
- Excellent organization, project management, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate solutions to complex and/or sensitive problems
- Ability to communicate policies and procedures to a diverse population at all levels
- Knowledge of standard office software
- Familiarity with Interfolio, ACCESS database, and Workday is preferred
