Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Food Studies or related field
- 3+ years professional experience with food/food handling or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supervising staff and operations
- Experience planning and implementing activities and events
- Experience overseeing budgets
- Ability to develop, implement and communicate policies and procedures
- Ability to instruct kitchen/food health courses
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
- ServSafe certification or applicable New York City food safety/food protection certification preferred
- Experience with commercial kitchen management preferred
