About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate, track, and administer post-award lifecycles across a complex portfolio of grants and subawards
  • Manage submission timelines, subaward processing, procurement workflows, and sponsor reporting logistics
  • Ensure compliance with NYU and sponsor guidelines
  • Liaise with faculty, departmental teams, subrecipient institutions, and central university offices
  • Manage non-financial compliance workflows, subaward setups, and Concur transaction tracking
  • Enable Senior Post-Award Analysts to focus on financial strategy, forecasting, and faculty consulting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or other analytical discipline
  • 2+ years quantitative analytical experience, preferably in finance or accounting
  • Experience working with post-award grants management, including NIH and other federal or international grants
  • Ability to understand management requirements and broader processes and present research and financial analysis clearly and concisely
  • Strong quantitative and modeling skills
  • Familiarity with databases, workflow systems, presentation software, and standard query tool software
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with Google Apps
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering influential presentations to an external, senior audience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
