Serve as the primary project lead to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business and operations systems
Combine supervision of the Senior Institutional Research Analyst with hands-on development work
Manage implementation of information systems
Create foundations for data collection supporting SPS data and analytics strategic goals
Gather requirements from users and management
Provide project status updates
Develop policies, procedures, supporting documentation, and user manuals
Conduct training sessions
Collect, clean, organize, synthesize, validate, and summarize data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience leading a small to medium-sized team in BI-related projects
Proven experience with Salesforce, data warehousing/relational databases, ETL tools and technology, and reporting tools
Experience with SQL, Tableau, Oracle, and Alteryx preferred; similar tools considered
Strong communication skills
Ability to identify multiple approaches to problem solving and recommend the best solution
Ability to work directly with users and management to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships
Ability to take ownership and deliver end-to-end solutions
Ability to create data flow charts and diagrams
Ability to develop policies, procedures, and supporting documentation
Ability to create user manuals and conduct training sessions
Ability to collect, retrieve, merge, review, clean, organize, synthesize, validate, and summarize data
