About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide fundamental production logistical support for MPAP programs’ year-round initiatives and projects
  • Ensure advancing and performance logistics are executed efficiently and successfully
  • Facilitate day-to-day operations of productions for Vocal Performance, Educational Theatre, Drama Therapy, Dance Education, and other assigned programs
  • Collaborate with Program Directors, Program Administrators, Directors, and the Operations Manager to maintain project timelines and budgets
  • Schedule and oversee performances and rehearsals
  • Serve as the primary production administrator for the season of productions
  • Participate in season planning with Program Directors and theatre operations teams
  • Serve as liaison between programs and other departments
  • Help expand and deepen local artist connections

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in theatre or related field
  • 3+ years experience in production; stage, concert, theater management
  • Experience administering budgets
  • Experience coordinating a large number of events
  • Working knowledge of USA and URTA contracts
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in group problem-solving situations
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Computer literacy in Windows and Mac operating systems
