About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide project and event management support for the Center for Faculty Advancement
- Plan and manage timelines and collateral assets for Center initiatives, workshops, programs, and events
- Prioritize, arrange, and coordinate timelines for projects, events, and initiatives
- Manage special projects emanating from and across the Center for Faculty Advancement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience organizing projects and programs that further organizational goals and objectives
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and/or coordinate multiple assignments
- Ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate detailed information to a diverse population, verbally and in writing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment
- Proficiency with standard word-processing, spreadsheet and database software
- Preferred: Master's Degree
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Preferred: Proficiency with Google Suite productivity tools
- Preferred: Excellent organization, interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Preferred: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: Strong writing and research skills
- Preferred: Knowledge of standard office software
