About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development, delivery, and assessment of school-wide student programs and activities for Liberal Studies
  • Identify, implement, and evaluate student clubs, services, and resources to enhance engagement
  • Serve as a liaison between students, student groups, and University partners to resolve issues and provide guidance
  • Supervise, train, and mentor students in leadership roles
  • Contribute to strategic planning and implementation under direction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years relevant experience in student services and activities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, oral, and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of standard office software
  • Ability to interact with all levels of faculty and staff
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends in support of events and programs
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, or another appropriate field
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience with event planning and some budget management
