Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2–3 years of insurance experience required, specifically in Verification of Benefits
Experience verifying active, valid policy coverage, specific services covered, payment percentages, co-pays, deductibles, and authorization requirements under specific plans
Light billing and collections experience preferred
Experience in Behavioral Health settings preferred
In-depth Verification of Benefits experience required
Professional and courteous phone communication skills
Accurate data entry and insurance information capture
Experience using systems such as Availity, Verify TX, and SalesForce
