Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a trusted and reliable resource for adolescent and young adult behavioral healthcare in the community
Identify market strategy, build and deepen professional relationships, and optimize opportunities to increase Newport Healthcare’s reach
Respond immediately to service and referral inquiries and support referring professionals and families from the first call through admission
Ensure communication and care coordination
Identify and prospect new healthcare-sector accounts
Build relationships with medical professionals, increase awareness of organizational services, and generate new business opportunities
Conduct face-to-face meetings with key decision makers to uncover needs, address treatment barriers, and create community partnerships
Plan and attend facility tours, professional weekends, events, conferences, and networking events on behalf of Newport Healthcare
Collaborate with the national team of Clinical Outreach Specialists through weekly team calls and quarterly field rides

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be in New York City, NY
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or closely related field OR minimum two (2) years of direct experience in a behavioral health setting/pharmaceutical sales
Experience with communication principles, practices, and techniques applicable to a healthcare environment
Extensive experience in creating, maintaining, and delivering marketing strategies to meet objectives
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer experience
Living in or close enough to the designated territory to visit assigned locations promptly and regularly
