About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide quality control, audit oversight, and risk identification for Bankruptcy department functions
- Identify operational risks and escalate issues to management
- Review proposed judgment orders pre-filing for accuracy and compliance with state and client regulations
- Review Bankruptcy-related documents for accuracy
- Enter file-level attorney firm discrepancies and review monthly firm scorecards
- Develop Performance Improvement Plans with the Attorney Network department when firm quality issues are identified
- Recommend procedural changes and policy updates
- Identify trends and training opportunities from quality control oversight
- Research and review accounts, items, and processes
- Serve as quality assurance liaison with functional areas
- Provide on-site expertise for Bankruptcy processing and document-related questions
- Analyze quality assurance trends and provide root-cause and trend information to management
- Generate error reports and monthly quality assurance KPI reports
- Complete monthly workflow audits
- Maintain and improve quality results through standards, recommendations, and additional oversight
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly loan-level quality review results and trending
- Participate in departmental special projects and perform related assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required
- 3-4 years of mortgage servicing or Bankruptcy experience required
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Able to effectively interact with managers and members of functional areas including Bankruptcy and compliance
- Self-motivated work style and strong desire to exceed expectations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet timelines
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Above average skills in quality and production rates
- BKFS/LoanSphere experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
- Must possess a smartphone meeting Company security standards and able to install applications such as Microsoft Authenticator
