About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain timely processing for Loss Mitigation Fulfillment workflow
- Handle production, intake, and review of Modifications, Partial Claims, Deferments, and other applicable Loss Mitigation documents
- Assist with underwriting, modification processing, and document recordation as required by various jurisdictions
- Process pre-foreclosure evaluations
- Perform second-look reviews for denied workouts
- Review in-flight workouts for transferred loans
- Timely intake and system documentation of Modification, Partial Claim, and Deferment documents
- Provide Cash department instructions for booking Modifications, Partial Claims, and Deferments
- Ensure terms are correctly updated in the servicing system
- Perform pre-foreclosure reviews according to regulatory guidelines
- Produce Loss Mitigation Certification documents for foreclosure actions
- Perform pre-sale reviews before foreclosure sale
- Send Modification documents for recording within required timeframes
- Send recorded collateral documents to the document custodian within investor guidelines
- Review proper status for in-flight transferred loans
- Convey information accurately to others
- Perform related duties assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- A 4-year college degree in Business Administration or another analytical field preferred
- 1 years’ experience in Mortgage Servicing or an Accounting field preferred
- Excellent Mathematical Skills
- Knowledge of Loss Mitigation program guidelines
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word
- Working on-site at assigned office location
- Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership
- Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours
- Ability to work in a cubicle hub and maintain focus in a noisy environment
- Sedentary work in a stationary position for prolonged periods
- Constant repetitive computer motions, such as typing and managing phone calls
- Effective verbal communication in English
- Smart phone meeting Company security standards and ability to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator; employment is contingent on this requirement
