About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise a staff of 8+ Foreclosure Specialists and Document Verification Specialists
  • Timely and accurately manage a pipeline of loans through the foreclosure process
  • Develop and maintain current policies and procedures
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement new processes
  • Maintain working knowledge of investor, insurer, client, state, and jurisdictional foreclosure requirements
  • Track and manage foreclosure deadlines, SLAs, timelines, and department metrics
  • Train new hires on systems of record, investor guidelines, and industry standards
  • Train the team on newly implemented processes
  • Use reporting to manage the team and modify reporting as needed
  • Handle personnel management, coaching, and annual reviews
  • Serve as the foreclosure point of contact for internal departments and attorney firms on escalated issues
  • Track and analyze departmental data and report team activities
  • Complete special tasks and achieve assigned objectives
  • Make business decisions based on likelihood of recovery versus liability risks
  • Perform related duties assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience required
  • 6+ years of foreclosure or mortgage service-related experience required
  • 1-2 years of management experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, computer, and research skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain goal oriented
  • Ability to work on a team or independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Effective verbal communication in English
  • Smartphone meeting Company security standards and ability to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator; employment contingent on this requirement
