About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a technical lead within the Power Generation Division Engineering & Operations Support Services organization
  • Administer and maintain OT infrastructure supporting generation facilities
  • Install, configure, monitor, patch, back up, recover, and manage the lifecycle of HMIs, SCADA servers, application servers, historians, engineering workstations, controllers, PLCs, data concentrators, RTUs, protective relays, DFRs, metering systems, network switches, and communications equipment
  • Support implementation and sustainment of RBAC, OT monitoring, secure remote access, vulnerability management, asset inventory automation, and backup and recovery programs
  • Support cybersecurity assessments, audits, remediation activities, and corrective action plans affecting OT systems
  • Support strategic OT cybersecurity and resiliency projects across the fleet
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, cybersecurity personnel, vendors, and plant personnel during design, testing, deployment, and support
  • Assist with technical standards, reference architectures, and cybersecurity design requirements
  • Support IT/OT separation, OT resiliency, site security hardening, and centralized OT infrastructure initiatives
  • Evaluate, implement, and modify operating system software parameters and product solutions
  • Identify integration and interface requirements
  • Serve as a technical escalation point
  • Troubleshoot hardware, system, and application issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience supporting industrial control systems, SCADA systems, operational technology infrastructure, or critical infrastructure environments
  • Experience administering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, backup technologies, and network infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Modbus and DNP3 industrial communication protocols, control systems, and operational technology environments
  • Experience supporting or maintaining HMI systems, PLCs and controllers, RTUs and data concentrators, protective relays, DFR systems, SCADA platforms, and industrial networking equipment
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, access management, network segmentation, system hardening, monitoring, and incident response
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
