About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide day-to-day technical support on sales opportunities
  • Conduct discovery meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, POVs, and closeout meetings
  • Engage customers and prospects to demonstrate Nexthink solutions and communicate value propositions and differentiators
  • Answer technical questions with credibility
  • Work with IT Security, IT Operations, and IT Service Management stakeholders to illustrate relevant use cases
  • Complete technical and security questionnaires, RFIs, and RFPs in line with Federal requirements
  • Become a Nexthink subject matter expert and thought leader internally and externally
  • Help the sales team qualify leads using knowledge of product capabilities and DoD requirements
  • Execute technical validation cycles, including POCs/POVs, to obtain the technical win
  • Participate in webinars, marketing events, and trade shows as a technical SME
  • Report to the Senior Director of Solution Consulting (North America), with day-to-day priorities set by the local sales leader/sales team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years of presales experience selling to DoD Agencies
  • U.S. citizenship due to U.S. Government requirements
  • Prior or active DoD clearance at secret level or above
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge of the Federal market
  • Functional understanding of current industry security standards and regulations for Federal engagements
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently with little guidance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a velocity sales environment
  • Ability to quickly learn Nexthink products and services
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast-growing, fast-paced, dynamic organization
  • Prior experience with End User Computing environments, IT Service Management, or Security/Governance/Risk/Compliance desirable
  • Willingness to travel 30–40% or potentially more based on seasonal needs
  • Occasional international travel may be required
