About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core
Build secure, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs
Implement solutions aligned with approved architectural patterns and technical guidelines
Develop services handling high concurrency and production-scale workloads
Write optimized, maintainable database queries while ensuring data integrity and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve backend and production issues
Write clean, maintainable, testable, production-ready code
Apply SOLID principles and Clean, Onion, Hexagonal Architecture, and DDD practices
Implement and maintain unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance/load tests
Participate in code reviews and engineering quality initiatives
Contribute to development standards, tooling, workflows, documentation, and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with Tech Leads, frontend engineers, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers
Translate technical and business requirements into high-quality implementations
Support architecture compliance and solution improvement discussions
Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers when needed
Participate in Agile ceremonies and team collaboration activities
Work with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
Containerize backend services using Docker
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Support observability and monitoring using logging, metrics, and tracing tools
Follow security, reliability, and operational best practices
Stay current with backend technology advancements and propose system and workflow improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 6 years of experience in backend development
Experience developing and maintaining scalable backend services
Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and performance tests
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude-Code, or similar, including configuration, rule management, and use
Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Fluent in English; English interview mandatory
French language proficiency is a plus
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core
Strong experience designing and implementing REST APIs
Strong SQL and relational database experience
Understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
Experience with Docker and CI/CD workflows
Understanding of scalable backend systems, observability, and reliability practices
Practical experience using AI coding assistants in day-to-day software development
Experience configuring or working with AI-assisted engineering workflows
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams
Ability to take ownership and drive initiatives to completion
Ability to collaborate in a diverse and dynamic environment
