About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the technical execution of TrueCapture projects across multiple regions
Coordinate and oversee field commissioning activities in energized environments
Guide installation, calibration, and validation practices
Interpret complex data and variables and propose effective, sustainable solutions
Lead technical communications with customers and provide expert support
Drive benefit evaluation and issue resolution throughout the product life cycle
Represent Nextracker engineering in technical and performance discussions with customers and partners
Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, commissioning reports, and compliance records
Collaborate with sales, engineering, product, and operations teams to improve commissioning processes and system performance
Assess and implement technical methods and criteria to optimize product and project performance
Manage tools, materials, and equipment under the role’s responsibility
Support technical and operational risk management
Contribute to global standardization by sharing best practices
Serve as an internal technical reference and support the technical growth of other professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering
At least 8 years of experience in commissioning, implementation, or maintenance of industrial systems, preferably in renewable energy
Proven experience leading technical coordination of field activities in energized environments
Experience managing technical interfaces across multiple disciplines and teams
Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex problems, with results reviewed upon completion
Willingness to travel frequently
Broad and multidisciplinary technical knowledge integrating electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic engineering principles applied to solar tracking and intelligent control systems
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong professional judgment in selecting methods, adapting techniques, and evaluating solutions
Intermediate knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools
Advanced English and Spanish proficiency; Portuguese is a plus
