About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, maintain, and secure core IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
- Own office and remote-access networks, including Palo Alto Prisma Access/GlobalProtect and Cisco Meraki LAN, WAN, firewall, and wireless
- Improve redundancy and failover across AWS, Azure, and VMware
- Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity
- Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, including DNS, replication, and synchronization
- Manage Entra ID, SSO, SCIM, MFA, RBAC, and privileged access
- Manage Microsoft 365, Jira Cloud, and Slack integrations
- Automate tasks with Microsoft Graph and scripting
- Build AI-assisted automations and govern AI platform access and controls
- Evaluate new AI tools for security and compliance
- Enforce endpoint, email, firewall/VPN, and Zero Trust controls
- Own backup and retention policies using Druva
- Maintain audit-ready SOX and SOC 2 controls
- Lead migrations and technical-debt cleanup
- Enforce IT standards
- Resolve complex Level 2–3 escalations through root-cause analysis
- Maintain system documentation
- Mentor IT Systems Engineer I and IT Support team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–6 years in systems engineering, including Level 3 troubleshooting with root-cause analysis and documentation
- Advanced skills with Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, AWS IaaS, VMware, VPN, and Meraki
- Windows and macOS administration experience
- Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, or Microsoft Graph
- Hands-on use of AI tools in IT operations
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, email security, and SOX/SOC 2 compliance
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, PagerDuty, monitoring tools, and ITIL practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaborate with a global team
- Excellent written and verbal English
