About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on compensation principles, policies, and procedures
  • Evaluate pay practices and programs across the organization and deliver actionable recommendations
  • Own complex compensation analyses and provide executive-ready insights, scenarios, and recommendations to HR leadership
  • Lead organization-wide compensation projects and annual compensation cycle planning, including merit cycles
  • Own project plans, timelines, communications, data quality controls, and stakeholder alignment through execution
  • Conduct market pricing for company jobs, determine benchmark matches, recommend job leveling/classification, and establish recommended pay ranges
  • Document compensation methodology and pricing rationale
  • Lead job description reviews and recommend edits supporting accurate market pricing and internal equity
  • Establish and enforce SOPs and data/document maintenance standards, including governance, version control, and audit readiness
  • Prepare and submit organizational data for compensation and total rewards surveys
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and implement scalable process and reporting enhancements
  • Lead compensation-related compliance analyses and audits with HR and Legal
  • Maintain data integrity between PayFactors and Workday through audit/reconciliation controls
  • Perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions
  • Translate business needs into requirements, partner on configuration and testing, and deliver reporting and self-service enhancements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in compensation analysis and/or administration of compensation programs
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a compensation analyst or comparable role
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience managing projects and delivering results across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience may include a combination of work experience and education
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, HR, or another related field
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data validation
  • Experience building repeatable reporting and analysis
  • Experience working with HRIS and compensation systems such as Workday and PayFactors
  • Ability to translate business questions into data-driven insights
  • Preferred: 6+ years of experience in compensation analysis and/or administration of compensation programs
  • Preferred: 6+ years of experience in a compensation analyst or comparable role
  • Preferred: 6+ years of experience leading compensation-related projects and/or annual compensation cycles
  • Preferred: CCP or other compensation-related certification
