About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support users locally and remotely across multi-site SDWAN and external networks
Triage and prioritize Helpdesk tickets, drive them to resolution, document them, and escalate when appropriate
Manage and create user and computer accounts in Active Directory
Provision Exchange mailboxes
Support Microsoft Windows 10 through Windows 11, Office 2013 through 365, Citrix thin clients, Citrix sessions, CAD/CAM engineering software, and ERP endpoint connectivity
Configure and troubleshoot handheld data collection scan gun devices
Create images and provision client systems from bare metal
Train new and established users on IT policies and services
Document and implement training materials and programs
Ensure documentation of standards and procedures
Maintain and update asset and inventory management
Manage printers, spooler services, copiers, scanners, and faxes
Manage third-party contractors for installation, repair, and maintenance of onsite systems
Support production machine tool attached equipment, including Predator, Build to Monitor, Pick to Light, Digi-Serial devices, and CMM
Perform regular preventative maintenance on IT assets
Work with PLCs and microcontrollers as a plus

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school level education or equivalent specialized training obtainable through vocational courses or on the job
2–3 years of user/system support experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodations
IT-related certifications such as Microsoft, Network+, and A+ desired but not required
