About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain technical training materials for motors, drives, gearing products, and integrated drive system solutions
- Create instructor-led presentations, training guides, application notes, videos, demonstrations, and learning modules
- Translate technical product information into easy-to-understand training content
- Support development and deployment of training programs for new product launches
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineering teams on new technologies, features, and applications
- Deliver technical product training to Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Support teams
- Support employee onboarding programs
- Conduct virtual and in-person instructor-led training sessions
- Conduct technical product training for customers, distributors, system integrators, and channel partners
- Support customer workshops, demonstrations, technical seminars, field training, and strategic customer opportunities
- Maintain technical training libraries, databases, documentation, and learning materials
- Support creation of product certifications and structured learning paths
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Application Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
- Gather feedback regarding training effectiveness and product understanding
- Collect participant feedback and training performance metrics
- Track completion rates and learning outcomes
- Improve training materials and delivery methods
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Education, Business, Communications, or related field required
- 7+ years of experience in technical training, application engineering, product support, product management, sales enablement, or a related technical role
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, motion control systems, motors, drives, and gearing products
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills
- Experience creating technical documentation and training materials
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, PowerPoint, and virtual training platforms
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
