About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build the enterprise customer segment commercial vision 3–5 years out based on industry knowledge, client needs, and internal feedback
  • Partner with Sales Engineering on the commercial vision
  • Define and execute the enterprise commercial strategy and roadmap in the near and long term, in the US and globally
  • Manage the Enterprise Sales Team
  • Lead key commercial initiatives to drive focused growth across specific products or go-to-market efforts
  • Develop deep senior-level relationships at major media companies to support business growth
  • Implement improvements within the group to ensure Gracenote is constantly growing and improving
  • Drive focus, accountability, and execution for Gracenote’s strategic enterprise market segment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 years of experience leading high-performing sales teams for enterprise clients, ideally in Media & Entertainment or related fields
  • Team leadership experience building and fostering a collaborative enterprise account selling approach
  • Ability to communicate and articulate succinctly to C-level executives at Gracenote and strategic clients
  • Proven growth record as an individual contributor and as leader of an enterprise accounts sales team
  • 5–10 years of experience as an individual contributor sales representative with a proven track record managing B2B data clients
  • Genuine passion for and knowledge of the TV, Movie, and Sports media landscape
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for small client groups and larger audiences
  • Open, collaborative, and enthusiastic influencer who builds relationships and consensus
  • Strategic thinking, market analysis, and product differentiation experience
  • Experience with sales methodologies including pipeline, ROH, and Salesforce
  • Leadership, professionalism, and temperament to motivate organizational change and pursue major opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Supplementary business-related education or experience is a plus
  • Experience in Media publishing, OTT, streaming, Connected TV (CTV), or broadcast media
  • SaaS and subscription sales experience
  • Metadata content operations experience is a plus, including Gracenote, TMS, ROVI, or other structured entertainment or sports data companies, or client-side modern streaming content data operations
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
