About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clinical customer support by interfacing with sales and service personnel
- Implement Nihon Kohden Patient Monitoring Systems at customer sites
- Implement the Nihon Kohden Clinical Partnership Program in the United States, its territories, and Canada
- Develop and deliver customized training and support plans for Nihon Kohden equipment
- Lead implementation teams to complete projects on time, safely, and to customer satisfaction
- Provide ongoing customer support in person or by telephone
- Make travel arrangements according to company policies
- Complete expense reports within designated timeframes
- Maintain current product knowledge as product operations and features change
- Maintain clinical knowledge and competency and active nursing licensure
- Manage time efficiently and complete assignments within established timeframes
- Submit required documentation within designated timeframes
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
- Travel approximately 80% across the United States
- Perform field work and on-site customer support, including overnight travel most weeks
- Complete administrative work, calls, planning, and preparation during periodic office- or home-based weeks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Valid unrestricted nursing license issued within the United States
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- 3+ years of experience in any Adult ICU
- Knowledge of hemodynamics
- Ability to troubleshoot complex critical nursing issues
- EKG rhythm interpretation required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service skills and professional presentation
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret equipment manuals, business periodicals, or professional journals
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to present complex information to customers and employees using technology
- Working knowledge of Windows PCs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret bar graphs
- Flexibility with schedule and changing work environments
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to be managed remotely
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and understand instructions in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to provide proof of required vaccinations and related personal medical information for customer-site credentialing
