About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement scalable data pipelines moving and transforming large volumes of data from multiple sources to central data warehouses
- Transform data to enable business reporting and advanced analytics
- Manage and optimize relational database performance
- Ensure data availability, reliability, and consistency
- Automate and optimize data workflows for data collection, storage, and processing
- Ensure data integrity and security across systems
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot data pipeline issues
- Build dashboards and reports in Tableau and Databricks
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Located in the USA and residing in one of: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Washington
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on data engineering and data science
- Experience building data pipelines and managing large-scale data systems using SQL and Python
- Proficiency in AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Airflow, Kafka, or dbt
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools such as Redshift, BigQuery, and Snowflake
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship
