About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct detailed actuals-versus-budget variance analyses, identifying and explaining deviations
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and profitability indicators, such as EBITDA, gross margin, fixed costs, and variable costs
- Prepare and present executive reports and presentations (governance decks) containing financial analyses and projections
- Gather assumptions and negotiate input to develop financial projections
- Translate complex financial data into clear insights, supporting leadership in setting direction and achieving company objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Thorough knowledge of the annual budgeting cycle and actuals-versus-budget analyses
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, including the CO and PS controlling modules, line-item reporting, and project assets, or similar systems
- Ability to manipulate and clean large datasets
- Experience with Power BI
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data and concepts clearly
- Critical thinking and proactive identification of risks and anomalies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Certifications in Financial Analysis or BI tools are preferred
