About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and scale the company’s People strategy across hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee experience during a high-growth phase
- Partner with executive leadership and department heads to translate business goals into headcount plans, org design, and people priorities
- Lead end-to-end recruiting strategy, including hiring frameworks, workforce planning, and bar-setting across GTM, Product, and Operations
- Build and standardize hiring processes, role definitions, scorecards, and interview practices to ensure consistency, fairness, and high talent density
- Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards for hiring, retention, performance, and engagement; report insights to leadership
- Design and implement scalable onboarding, performance, and manager enablement programs
- Coach and support hiring managers and people leaders on interviewing, feedback, performance conversations, and team development
- Own foundational people infrastructure, including job leveling, documentation, policies, and tooling
- Serve as a steward of company culture and values in hiring, development, and retention
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in People Operations, Talent, or HR, including experience operating at a Director or equivalent senior level
- Experience scaling small companies to mid-sized organizations in a short timespan across multiple geographies, offices, and countries (e.g., 50 to 300 people)
- Proven experience partnering with executives and senior leaders in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
- Ability to maintain a high velocity, fast-paced culture across departments through major growth milestones
- Experience managing complex compensation plans across different types of functions
- Strong judgment and ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution when needed
- Deep experience building and scaling recruiting and people systems from early-stage to growth-stage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization
- Comfort owning ambiguity and setting direction where processes don’t yet exist
- Experience with modern ATS and HR tooling (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse, HRIS platforms)
- Experience supporting both GTM and technical organizations
