About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Liaise with Compliance, Customer Service, Product, and Technology stakeholders to process transactions for Retail and Institutional businesses
- Reconcile incoming customer funds with transactions and ensure wallets have sufficient balances
- Onboard Institutional, SME, and enterprise clients on Nium's platform
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve payment-processing issues
- Verify bank and currency statements before reprocessing or refunding transactions
- Create monthly client invoices and track settlements
- Coordinate with Reconciliation and Finance teams on accounting queries
- Work with Account Managers and Customer Service teams to resolve customer complaints
- Publish MIS reports to management and internal stakeholders
- Organize workflow to meet department objectives
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to improve process efficiency and automation
- Work in a rotational shift environment with a flexible holiday schedule
- Take ownership of payment transaction processing and meet day-to-day and month-to-month SLAs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 2–5 years of experience working in Payment Processing
- Preferred knowledge of cross-border remittances
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with a high degree of quality
- Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills
- Hands-on experience with MS Office and its tools
- Customer-centricity, confidence, go-getter mindset, curiosity, ability to multitask across systems, ability to relate to technology as an end-user, teamwork, flexibility, and focus on operational efficiency
