About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage incoming sales enquiries by telephone, email and other communication channels
  • Follow up with prospective customers and convert sales opportunities into orders
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and expand existing customer accounts
  • Explain how Nofence’s virtual fencing technology meets farmers’ grazing and livestock management needs
  • Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity and opportunities in the CRM system
  • Respond to customer enquiries and support requests via telephone, email, ticketing system and other tools
  • Provide practical guidance to customers using Nofence systems
  • Record support cases and follow issues through to resolution
  • Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to Product and Engineering teams
  • Identify recurring customer issues and share feedback for product and service improvements
  • Collect and report information on product performance and customer experiences
  • Share knowledge and feedback with UK, Ireland and international support teams
  • Contribute to Sales and Support process development and organisational projects
  • Support agricultural shows, demonstrations and other events, including occasional travel to customer farms
  • Report to the UK & Ireland Business and Operations Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in sales, customer service, customer support or a similar customer-facing role
  • Understanding of agriculture, livestock, grazing or pasture management
  • Practical farming experience would be an advantage
  • Interest in technology and ability to learn new products and systems
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups
  • Confidence using CRM systems, email and other digital tools
  • Relevant qualifications in agriculture, business, sales or a related field would be beneficial
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to travel occasionally to agricultural shows, events and customer farms
