About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define category strategy with stakeholders to meet procurement deliverables and targets
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Serve as strategic interface toward suppliers and build strong supplier relationships
- Drive supplier performance and supplier-base development
- Monitor supplier market dynamics and respond to supply-market changes
- Drive supplier selection and identify new suppliers
- Manage the RFx process from supplier selection through onboarding
- Lead contract and price negotiations to secure favorable terms for Nokia
- Execute periodic price and cost renegotiations to achieve savings targets
- Ensure contractual agreements, NDAs, and required appendices are in place
- Drive supplier audits and assessments to improve delivery capability and quality
- Ensure compliance with procurement processes, SOX, and statutory requirements
- Ensure Nokia fulfills contractual obligations toward suppliers
- Lead regular supplier business review meetings
- Minimize supplier risks through source qualifications and financial checks
- Support Nokia’s ESG strategy and implementation at suppliers
- Own and report agreed KPIs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to define and implement end-to-end category strategies aligned with procurement deliverables and targets
- Proficiency in analyzing supplier market dynamics and leveraging insights to drive procurement activities
- Expertise in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers while developing the existing supplier base
- Strong stakeholder management skills for maintaining relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
- Proven experience leading contract and price negotiations
- Ability to manage RFx processes from supplier selection through onboarding
- Knowledge of procurement processes, SOX, and other statutory requirements
- Experience conducting supplier audits/assessments
- Ability to support ESG strategy implementation at supplier level
- Ownership and effective reporting of agreed KPIs
- Proficiency organizing and driving regular supplier business review meetings
