About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform critical, sometimes escalated, design and performance activities independently in customer projects and multi-vendor environments
  • Develop, review, and recommend network-wide designs covering performance, spectrum, and capacity
  • Organize field measurements and laboratory tests
  • Perform network audits, especially where faults or problems exist
  • Optimize network components based on traffic trends and customer forecasts
  • Support experts in developing network configuration files and interface analysis
  • Develop network architecture and services designs to support customer services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science, or 5+ years equivalent practical work experience
  • Experience in MPLS, ISIS, Segment Routing, BGP protocols, LDP and RSVP-TE, and L2/L3 VPNs over MPLS and Nokia Route
  • Experience in QoS implementation/testing; familiarity with Spirent and IXIA
  • Expertise troubleshooting, monitoring, and configuring IP networking protocols
  • Customer mindset and solid written and verbal communication skills with end-clients
  • Nokia DataCenter experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Nokia products: 7750SR, 7250 IXR, 7705SAR, 7210SAS, EDA, and NSP
