About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect and design cloud-native, cloud-agnostic telecom and network management platforms
- Lead the creation of microservices, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security
- Guide the development of databases and associated open-source software components
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Propose innovative ideas for platform enhancements
- Document and communicate architectural decisions and best practices
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during critical incidents
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent with proven 10+ years of experience as R&D Architect or similar role
- Good background in telecom and network management
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture and engineering, with a focus on microservices, high availability, and reliability
- Proficiency in Java, C++, and Linux
- In-depth knowledge of K8S, Docker, Helm, and associated open-source software
- Nice to have: Very good understanding of OOPS concepts and database management
- Nice to have: Experience with observability tools and practices
