About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end design, development, delivery, and lifecycle management of cloud-native applications
- Ensure scalability, resilience, and operational excellence
- Lead architecture and implementation of distributed systems, microservices, and platform components
- Drive technical decisions and engineering best practices across the team
- Promote test automation, continuous testing, code quality, reliability engineering, and DevSecOps practices
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, observability, and Kubernetes-based cloud-native platforms
- Leverage AI-powered development tools, agentic automation frameworks, and engineering productivity solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software aligned with product and business objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or graduate/master's degree in engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering cloud-native, distributed software systems
- Experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Python
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs and microservices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and/or Jenkins
- Exposure to Agentic AI/AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude
- Nice to have: experience with SOAP APIs, Oracle/PostgreSQL, or other relational databases
- Nice to have: proficiency in Linux shell scripting and automation
- Nice to have: understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
