About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end design, development, delivery, and lifecycle management of cloud-native applications
  • Ensure application scalability, resilience, and operational excellence
  • Lead architecture and implementation of distributed systems components, microservices, and platform components
  • Drive technical decisions and engineering best practices across the team
  • Promote test automation, continuous testing, code quality, reliability engineering, and DevSecOps practices
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, observability, and Kubernetes-based cloud-native platforms
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools, agentic automation frameworks, and engineering productivity solutions
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software aligned with product and business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree / Graduate or master's degree in engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering cloud-native, distributed software systems using Java (Spring Boot) / Python
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Experience building and integrating REST APIs and microservices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and/or Jenkins
  • Exposure to Agentic AI/AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or equivalent
  • Nice to have: Experience with SOAP APIs, Oracle/PostgreSQL, or other relational databases
  • Nice to have: Proficiency in Linux shell scripting, automation, and strong development experience in Java and Python
  • Nice to have: Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
