About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end design, development, delivery, and lifecycle management of cloud-native Core Management System solutions
Lead architecture and implementation of distributed systems components, microservices, and platform components
Drive technical decisions and engineering best practices across the team
Champion test automation, continuous testing, code quality, reliability engineering, and DevSecOps practices
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, observability, and Kubernetes-based cloud-native platforms
Leverage AI-powered development tools, agentic automation frameworks, and engineering productivity solutions
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software aligned with product and business objectives
Serve in an extended Scrum Master role for a SAFe agile team, helping plan and execute team objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Engineering Degree
8+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering cloud-native, distributed software systems using Golang and microservices-based architectures
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including deployments, troubleshooting, scaling, CRDs, Operators, Helm, and OpenShift-based platform engineering
Product software development experience in OAM/FCAPS, EMS/NMS, or Core Network domain preferred
Hands-on experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, large-scale telemetry/data ingestion pipelines, and high-volume distributed systems
Strong knowledge of ClickHouse, VictoriaMetrics, MariaDB, and performance optimization of data-intensive applications and platforms
Experience with OpenTelemetry (OTLP), OpAMP, PromQL/VMQL, metrics, logs, traces, and automated RCA frameworks
Experience in CI/CD, DevOps, test automation, quality engineering, Jenkins, software reliability practices, AI-powered development tools, Agentic AI frameworks, and engineering automation
Prior Scrum Master experience preferred
