About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop >100 Gbaud ICs for future-generation products
  • Lead multiple aspects of IC product development, including design, layout, and bring-up
  • Participate in all R&D phases, including product definition, circuit design, verification, DVT, qualification, testing, and production ramp-up
  • Work closely with verification, CAD, product, and test engineering teams to devise and conduct DVT plans and characterization
  • Support system-level customers directly
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and reliability teams
  • Anticipate problems and devise effective solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with high-speed analog IC designs using SiGe BiCMOS or CMOS
  • Knowledge of transmission lines and other high-frequency passive structures
  • Understanding of device physics and its impact on analog circuits, including techniques to improve performance
  • Experience with RF wafer probing, lab equipment, and evaluation of high-speed analog ICs
  • Familiarity with VerilogA and CAD scripting languages such as Skill, Python, and shell scripts would be an asset
  • BS with 5+ years of experience, or MS with 3+ years of experience, or PhD
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player
