About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the design, development, and enhancement of automated quality engineering solutions for Core Management System functional areas
- Own end-to-end quality validation, including test strategy, automation, execution, defect management, and release readiness
- Lead functional and non-functional automation initiatives for product reliability, performance, scalability, and operational readiness
- Drive automation-first testing practices, CI/CD integration, and modern quality engineering methodologies
- Leverage AI-powered testing and automation tools to accelerate test development and improve defect detection
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to mitigate quality risks and resolve complex issues
- Drive continuous improvements across the software development lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship in test automation, framework evolution, and quality engineering best practices
- As Scrum Master of a SAFe agile team, help plan and execute delivery of team objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in system testing, end-to-end validation, and test automation for large-scale cloud-native and microservices-based applications
- Hands-on expertise designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks using modern automation tools and programming/scripting languages
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, system, regression, performance, scalability, and reliability testing methodologies
- Experience validating distributed systems, observability platforms, data pipelines, Kafka event-driven architectures, and Kubernetes/OpenShift containerized applications
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of quality engineering, test strategy, release readiness, and automation-first practices
- Strong defect analysis, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis skills
- Experience with AI-assisted testing, intelligent automation, or agentic frameworks
- Technical leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, and Operations teams in Agile environments
- Network Management Systems/Element Management Systems experience for the Core Network domain (nice to have)
- Core Network Signaling experience in 4G/5G mobile core networks (nice to have)
- Prior Scrum Master experience (nice to have)
