About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for rep questions and escalations
  • Manage day-to-day Slack questions and sales issues
  • Keep the team focused on daily and weekly goals and priorities
  • Identify blockers and resolve or escalate them quickly
  • Provide coverage and direction when leadership is unavailable
  • Provide informal coaching and feedback
  • Review calls and coach on discovery, positioning, objection handling, and closing
  • Reinforce sales standards, activity expectations, and follow-up
  • Coach newer AIPAs through ramp and development
  • Identify performance issues early and partner with the manager on improvement plans
  • Make first-line decisions on ambiguous lead and deal ownership
  • Resolve lead routing and assignment questions
  • Assist reps in maintaining accurate HubSpot records and deal stages
  • Identify CRM and process issues affecting the team
  • Escalate systemic HubSpot or lead-distribution problems
  • Maintain a small personal sales book
  • Monitor performance against Booms, activity, conversion, and other KPIs
  • Identify reps or funnel areas falling behind
  • Drive execution on sales initiatives, campaigns, and experiments
  • Ensure new processes are adopted by the team
  • Surface owner objections, product friction, and process issues
  • Bring rep feedback and customer insights to the manager
  • Communicate product and process changes to the team
  • Recommend improvements to scripts, workflows, lead handling, and sales processes
  • Set expectations for responsiveness, effort, professionalism, and customer experience
  • Recognize strong performance and hold reps accountable
  • Help create a high-energy, competitive, and supportive sales environment
  • Work with Sales leadership on team performance, rep development, process improvements, and new initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience, ideally in a high-volume B2C sales environment
  • Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Interest in developing other salespeople and taking on greater leadership responsibility
  • Strong coaching ability with direct, actionable feedback and trust-building
  • Ability to make day-to-day decisions and exercise good judgment when the answer is not always clear
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using CRM software, particularly HubSpot, and other sales tools
  • Data-oriented and comfortable using sales metrics to identify opportunities and performance gaps
  • Ability to balance individual production with team leadership responsibilities
  • Positive, solution-oriented, and willing to take ownership of problems
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends as needed
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
