About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for the End of Day Consistency initiative
Translate functional needs into clear specifications and user stories for the delivery team
Analyze data flows, reconcile discrepancies, and perform quality checks across source systems
Identify gaps and recommend remediation steps
Analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external systems for business, risk, and operational reporting
Document data definitions, lineage, and methodologies for governance, auditability, and knowledge transfer
Present analysis and insights to senior stakeholders, adapting technical detail to the audience
Support UAT and post-implementation activities by designing test scenarios, tracking issues to resolution, and producing status reporting and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar analytical role
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
Working knowledge of a scripting/analytics language such as Python or R
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GL reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and strong sense of data accuracy and integrity
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Prior exposure to financial services, markets data, or regulatory reporting is a plus
