About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as key liaison and subject matter expert supporting IWM Front Office on Rolling and Event Triggered Reviews
  • Execute KYC controls for Wealth Management clients and counterparties
  • Review documentation, conduct name screening and update client static data
  • Perform periodic and event-triggered reviews
  • Manage cases by monitoring progress and collaborating with Front Office, Financial Crime Compliance and Business Management teams
  • Assess client risk and implement risk-based approaches
  • Validate and update client information and documents accurately and promptly in systems
  • Ensure seamless feeds to internal systems and internal or regulatory reporting
  • Update KYC procedures and implement operational changes required by policy
  • Identify system and process enhancements focused on controls and efficiency
  • Work with IT teams to implement enhancements
  • Contribute to risk mitigation, process scalability, metrics-driven management and client service initiatives
  • Participate in automation and control enhancement projects
  • Partner with Front Office, Operations, Compliance and Legal teams to safeguard clients and protect the Bank

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Wealth Management KYC Operations or Compliance
  • Well versed with KYC/AML and regulatory requirements suggested by MAS and other major Asia regulators
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
  • Ability to understand different risk types associated with clients, including individuals, private companies and corporations
  • Strong documentation validation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to thrive in virtual, collaborative team environments
  • Integrity and strong work ethic
  • Vigilance to identify and escalate potential non-compliance risks promptly
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Knowledge and experience with PowerBI, Python, Alteryx, AI, LLM or NLP preferred
  • Experience performing hands-on KYC and document tasks, including system updates, due diligence, document validation and uploads, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience
