About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Scan, copy, and organize files
- Mail documents
- File documents and complete ad hoc projects using Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Reconcile and track federal and state tax notices
- Prepare journal entries and other tax forms/workpapers
- Work 15–20 hours generally, with more than 30 hours needed at times
- Work flexible hours in the Corporate Income Tax department
Requirements
What you’ll need- College graduate majoring in accounting/tax
- Motivated, diligent learner able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and proactively maintain quality/status of work
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Ability to work efficiently independently and in a team environment
- Currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship; the Finance Division is not sponsoring or taking over sponsorship at this time
