About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the design, build, operation, and strategic execution of Nooks’ end-to-end procurement process
Manage intake and request flow, stakeholder requests, approval thresholds, and vendor onboarding
Lead vendor management and own the renewal calendar
Assess vendor usage and alternatives to identify redundancy, bloat, savings, and optimization opportunities
Partner with budget owners to negotiate new and renewing SaaS, AI, infrastructure, and data-product contracts
Benchmark pricing, structure multi-year and usage-based terms, and create forecasts for deal structure
Define procurement review processes and determine when to involve Legal, Compliance, IT, Finance, and Executive teams
Build spend visibility and maintain a vendor expense forecast
Categorize vendor spend, track realized savings against plan, and report to Finance, company leadership, and budget owners
Evaluate procurement tools and leverage AI to build an effective procurement stack
Serve as the primary knowledge base for vendor relationships, usage, performance, and ROI
Report to the VP Finance

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-7+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management, with direct ownership in a high-growth tech or SaaS environment
Strong track record leading complex commercial negotiations across SaaS and services contracts
Experience building and optimizing procurement policies, processes, and tools, including automation
Experience reading and interpreting commercial contracts and order forms
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence budget owners and department leaders without direct authority
Experience working with AI tools in a Finance or Operations function
Familiarity with procurement and spend management platforms
Strong analytical skills and expert proficiency in Excel, model-building, and forecasting
Ability to operate independently in a remote role
