About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own recruiting processes, reporting, analytics, and operating rhythms
- Turn recruiting data into insights and actionable improvements
- Manage and optimize recruiting technology and vendor ecosystem, including security, billing, adoption, and training
- Research and implement tools and technologies to improve recruiter productivity and candidate experience
- Drive adoption of AI across recruiting, including evaluating use cases and implementing Nooks Agent
- Lead strategic research projects for data-driven recruiting decisions
- Develop and strengthen Nooks’ recruiting and employer brand
- Create leverage through systems, automation, processes, and team enablement
- Own or support hackathons, technical events, conferences, industry events, hosted events, dinners, university events, and community events
- Partner with Marketing, Recruiting, Engineering, People Operations, and other teams
- Implement and communicate new processes
- Identify training, documentation, and enablement needs
- Improve cross-functional workflows and eliminate operational friction
- Support strategic People projects
- Own and accelerate university recruiting strategy, especially for engineering talent
- Build university and technical-community relationships, develop programs and events, measure results, and create a scalable early-career talent pipeline
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Recruiting Operations, Talent Operations, People Operations, Recruiting, Program Management, or a similar function
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Experience building processes or programs from the ground up
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and emerging recruiting technology
- Ability to manage systems, vendors, and multiple cross-functional initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Bias toward action and willingness to operate in ambiguity
- Ability to create leverage, automate work, and improve teams
- Ability to come into the San Francisco office on a hybrid basis
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
