About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, confirmations, transitions, exits, documentation, letters, and records
  • Maintain the annual people calendar covering review cycles, engagement surveys, policy refreshes, and compliance timelines
  • Partner on payroll inputs, benefits administration, and entity-level compliance documentation
  • Draft, update, and communicate policies
  • Maintain people trackers and dashboards for headcount, lifecycle turnaround times, engagement data, and programme budgets
  • Coordinate vendors and logistics for insurance, wellbeing, engagement, and event programs
  • Create internal communications including all-hands content, newsletters, policy and process announcements, leadership messages, and Slack communications
  • Manage the engagement calendar covering recognition, milestones, celebrations, wellbeing moments, and the new-joiner experience
  • Manage Annual Team Retreats, all-team meetings, and pulse checks
  • Brief and collaborate with design team members on onboarding kits, campaign assets, one-pagers, and decks
  • Support employer brand activities with the Talent Acquisition team, including careers content, candidate-facing collateral, and culture storytelling
  • Adapt engagement and communications for People leads across India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nepal, and growing geographies
  • Coordinate with people operations, facilities, country operations, brand and design, and Talent Acquisition teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6 to 8 years across people operations or HR operations
  • Communications must be a genuine strength
  • Experience in a fast-moving organisation where people practices are taken seriously
  • Strong writing skills for different audiences
  • Rigorous operational skills, including trackers, checklists, documentation, and follow-through
  • Ability to brief and partner with designers and assess visual quality
  • Experience working with distributed or multi-country teams
  • Careful communication across cultures
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, low ego, and hands-on execution
  • Nice to have: exposure to global health or the nonprofit sector
  • Nice to have: experience with an HRIS such as 15Five or BambooHR
  • Nice to have: working knowledge of Canva or Figma
  • Nice to have: a language spoken in one of the organisation's geographies
