About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead local service technicians onsite as part of the Service Operations Team
- Report to the Local Operations Manager
- Troubleshoot and maintain wind turbines
- Ensure compliance with safety-related processes
- Act as the customer point of contact for daily activities and provide monthly reporting
- Perform maintenance, repair, and operation of wind turbines
- Troubleshoot and repair turbine systems and equipment
- Complete preventive maintenance and diagnose malfunctions
- Perform preventive maintenance according to the maintenance planning schedule
- Report daily activities, snags, and maintenance tasks, including booking materials
- Maintain the Service point, tools, and service vans
- Manage local stock
- Participate in field training and transfer knowledge to colleagues
- Collaborate with operational and Backoffice teams to maintain wind farm availability and service standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in the wind industry, depending on experience and education
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing wind turbine systems and equipment
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and diagnosing malfunctions
- Ability to comply with safety-related processes and high safety standards
- Ability to lead a technical team onsite
- Ability to communicate with customers regarding daily activities
- Ability to prepare monthly reporting and high-quality daily activity, snag, and maintenance reports
- Ability to manage tools, service vans, and local stock
- Ability to participate in field training and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues
